    Oh yes- I think ZAZ is short for joie de vivre!
    I do use a digital device in my photographic pursuits when necessary.
    When someone rags on me for using film, I use a middle digit, upraised.

    It is a fantastic machine. Is the all tube version heavier? Hard to imagine that.

    Zaz certainly has joie de vivre! Have you also been watching what Roberto Alagna is doing these days?

    21.5 kg - from the factory manual. This is NOT including the additional 12" stereo speaker pair I have that came with the machine.
    My personal machine's reversing clutch is warn and I'm thinking about pulling the amps out and modifying them for microphone pre-amps.

    We'll see.

    That would be about 47~48 pounds. I just checked and mine weighs almost exactly 47 pounds. Interesting. Have you thought about repairing the clutch? Sad to see one scrapped.
