So she's calling the guys with nets because you want the car, or you want the car for her?

Looks like the 300SL from way back. Couldn't afford it then. Still can't! Drat!!!

Maybe consider a Koenigsegg or Noble??

    The Kia trailer advert was excellent the main movie . . . . . . .

The 7 year warranty on the Kia's is a no brainer, 5 years warranty on a 2 year old car - brilliant.

Not the 300SL Gullwing from way back (as in 1952 fame, winner of LeMans), but rather a new model in the spirit of the original, souped up by AMG, who have done that kind of work on various Mercedes models. AMG is now a part of the Mercedes operations.

I used to have a 1963 190SL, a little four-banger that AMG never modified. In the late fifties my dream car was the 300SL, but couldn't afford the $12,100 (when the average house was around $15,000. So I settled for the 190SL at $5295 and had to pick from those already delivered to the USA, since both the SLs were being discontinued and replaced by an intermediate 230SL series. Very nice machinery.

Photo here. Scroll down to see the two versions together
