DESCRIPTION

these cameras are simple construction of my own design.
they have a focus screens.
waterhouse stops are not included, but can be easily made.

this camera is NOT fixed focused, and while a lens and lensboard are included, ANY lens can be used.

why am i making these box cameras ?

to make a long story short, i love box cameras and i love experimenting.

i am selling these in the "anything goes" area
because the paper negatives made with these cameras
are " in flux " i am currently trying to figure out a way to FIX them,
so, for the time being, the images made are ephemera.
after the exposure is made and an image forms on the paper,
the paper negative is scanned
and becomes part of a hybrid-process.
the negatives created are chemical free ...

i am selling these first ones ( original ) i made.

the 11x14 below similar to the once being sold ( different lens )
the 5x7 is the exact camera being sold.

unfortunately the only way to keep the image
is through a hybrid mode ...
since they disappear for the most part
even with a super dilute super alkali hypo solution.
i haven't yet had enough money to use
gold toner as was suggested ...
so until then i am kind of stuck between
as analog as it gets, and some sort of
other worldly device for recapturing the captured image

while the 11x14 is off to that giant garage sale in the sky ...
i am still making custom sizes ( like the 11x14 ) and the 5x7 is still available

Well, someone could put whatever sensitive media they want in these cameras. You don't have to specify that part of the camera, you've just built it and let people do what they want with it.

I agree, too. I'm awaiting mine (customs is probably scratching their heads assessing a value), and I do plan on using it for john's 'exposed-out' lumen protocol, but I'll also develop-out paper and film with it.
