    Film usage in China

    Here's some nice anecdotal evidence on film usage here in China for everyone. I just completed a 7 day trip to Hong Kong and came home with 13 rolls of Reala and 400H. This Saturday I took them to the lab that I like to use. Normally I get turnaround time in 3-4 days. Now that a 1 week holiday ended here in China they told me that due to the crushing work load of film that they received (cases and cases of film waiting to be developed), the turn around time would be 2-3 weeks!

    Good morning, RattyMouse;

    Thank you. This is very good news and does provide hope that we will continue to have film available from China for a while longer. And, in 120 roll film size also, which means to me that film for some of my more obscure camera sizes will continue to be available also by being able to run the 120 through the film slitter. And, if there is 120, there should also be 35mm, which means that the common source for 16mm and 110 size will still be available also. Nice!
    Enjoy;

    There is no digital effect or computer program or an "add-on" or "plug-in" for Adobe PhotoShop
    Creative Suite 5, that can simulate or equal watching the magic that happens in the developing
    tray when you can turn on the safe light, and see the image begin to faintly form on the print and
    come up on that paper in the developing tray.
