    I would not say out of nowhere. Most probably most of them spent part of their lives inventing and making film. Film we already had in our cameras.

    For non italian native speakers : Nicola Baldini has a book,MANUALE PER IL CAPO ... something like manuals for Boss .... a good starting point !
