Colour chemistry literature

Wasn't sure where to post this, but is there any good books on colour chemistry? Mixing cd-3/cd-4 devs? Chemical process etc..

Is there a 'Darkroom Cookbook/Bible' for c41/e-x/ecn-2? I've read Kodak tech manuals for their products but I'm after something more general.
