a roll of HP5 in a Fuji GS645S in a wood, and later it got put in D23 for 13 minutes.
Probably the best exposed and developed roll of film I've put through a camera in months.
And the bonus is, some of the photographs are really nice.

Just shot and developed some Arista.edu ultra. Haven't scanned them yet, but just looking at the raw negative, they look pretty good.

Some expired but refrigerated Portra 160VC in 220.

Open shade portraits with diffused light flash fill - they look good.

“Photography is a complex and fluid medium, and its many factors are not applied in simple sequence. Rather, the process may be likened to the art of the juggler in keeping many balls in the air at one time!”

More 4x5 HP5+ in a Crown Graphic with Press 25 flashbulbs. It was at a vintage airshow yesterday. Airplanes are big. Flashbulbs work better for big than wimpy electronic flash.

(For the aficionados, also saw a formation flight of the following five vintage aircraft:

    North American P-51D Mustang
    Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc
    Messerschmidt BF 109 E3
    Ilyushin IL-2M3 Shturmovik
    North American B-25J Mitchell

Don't see this combination in the air wingtip-to-wingtip too often anymore...)

"When making a portrait, my approach is quite the same as when I am portraying a rock. I do not wish to impose my personality upon the sitter, but, keeping myself open to receive reactions from his own special ego, record this with nothing added: except of course when I am working professionally, when money enters in,—then for a price, I become a liar..."

    — Edward Weston, Daybooks, Vol. II, February 2, 1932
