Thanks. PK, no doubt some will think I'm a butt head, but I get very tired of self-right photographers. (NO REFLECTION to you) but copyright has to be all or nothing and not picked apart. I'm really sorry, but this is such a huge sore spot with me and the way folks look at posts.

Press releases from corporate sources like Kodak are sent out for the purpose of posting and quotation in other media. They are fine to repost.
News stories from a wire service, newspaper, magazine, news blog, or other sources under copyright should be linked rather than quoted in full.
My understanding is that PKM-25s posts are Kodak press releases. If that's not the case, please let the moderators know.

Ah well, when I've stocked up with my last Kodachrome, that's the end of my business with Kodak. Fuji for color, Ilford for B&W, still plenty of suppliers for photochemicals and d------l supplies. Who needs Kodak now? -

RIP Kodachrome. I'm going to celebrate with some of the new 160Portra and TMY-2 myself.

RIP Kodachrome. I'm going to celebrate with some of the new 160Portra and TMY-2 myself. Fuji don't seem to be doing too badly? Might be interesting to see which company (if either) are still here in 10 years time. IDK.
And it depends how you define "better"...is modern B&W film/paper better than platinum prints. Or photography "better" than painting. Or "progress" better than "choice". IDK again?
And perhaps best not celebrate with 160Portra and TMY-2, it might come back to haunt you when Kodak discontinue these to make more profit from another imaging system which is not discussed here?

Thanks Are you referring to my post?
If so, you are wrong in that I have been authorized by Kodak as an official line of news distribution to write a news / feature piece and if I have to refer Audrey to this thread in order to clear this up, I would be happy to do that. My post is not the official Kodak Press Release, but it is a news story that properly cites the source as a news organization would.
As a professional photographer, I fully understand copyright infringement.
Please stop distracting the topic of this post to matters of which you do not have all the information needed to make these assertions.
Thank you,
Daniel Bayer, Creator / Director of the Kodachrome Project.
