I agree, and everyone who ever used his Type 55 film in Large Format will know that instintively.

    Once again, in order:

    The old Agfachrome CT & RS Line (50 and 100) - E-6
The old Agfa XRS 100 -C-41

The "newer" Agfa RSX II (50 & 100)
The "newer" Agfa Portrait XPS 160 & Optima 100

    Kodak Vericolor III 160
Kodak Kodachrome 25, and now 64 and now, even as we speak, E 100 GX

Yup, another one bites the dust

It was Jody Dole's standby in the 1990s after he stashed a bunch in deep-freeze. His work was how I even learnt it existed.

This one killed me. The best night photography film by far.

Same here: Kodak Gold 100. When I first used it it didn't really spin my propeller. Then I ran it through my OM-2 and really started to like it. As typical with my luck, it was discontinued

I'm currently keeping track of tall bridges to pitch myself off of in the event that they ever discontinue Super Gold 400

I'll look him up, sounds interesting, thanks. Again, I only tried one roll when I was still a wet-behind-the ears newbie, the results were soft and dreamy colours with tons of grain - a unique antidote to the 'sharper, finer grain' ethos of the mainstream. Maybe we could badger Ferrania... :-)

    Two of my favorites:

    Ektachrome E100SW
    Kodacolor Ektar 25

    Also:

    Fujichrome MS100/1000

Sorry for repeating if they have already been mentioned, but I did not see them.

NPL killed me as well, Jimmy...as well as Portra 100T........and 160T and 320T..........ah...........
