I thought about buying a rotary processor, but I read they tend break rather easily, so I concluded that in the long run it would be better to acquire a good manual development technique.
I still have two months till my holiday. What prompted my question was the fact that I was about to place an order for films and chemistry, but I was still in doubt about the practicalities.

The new type elevator is much better. In a regular 2523 tank (minimum volume 270ml , left in front) nothing will break.
Maybe when you use the heavy 3000 Expert drums (for sheet film) without carefull handling.

I built (hacked together) a neoprene insulated coozy for my 2-roll and 4-roll steel dev tanks. They fit perfectly on a Beseler Motor Base. It works really well. It is cheap. And pretty brain dead simple. I posted info here: http://www.kryptosinistographer.com/...e-e-6-pro.html
