Anyone use a single LED "bulb"......

In their enlarger? I recently tried this Feit 14w (60w) LED
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F0S...ile?pc_redir=C
in my Beseler 23C ll condenser enlarger. I used Ilford Multigrade RC paper and Ilford filters and a quick test provided good results. The "bulb" is rated at 3000k and with several split filter prints I was able to get the tonal range I was looking for. Once my computer is repaired I'll post scans of my prints.

My LED was $19.99 at Lowes.

Tried it once, but all I got was uneven lighting. Switched back to a diffuser color head.

This is the second "bulb" I tried and the lighting is very even on this one. Not so on the first one.

with incandescents going the way of the dodo bird, (at minimum, they are "politically incorrect"), i'll give it a try...
