Workshops int he North UK??
Hi,
i have just finally got my enlarger setup and have been printing my butt off. I am trying to locate some workshops for alternative printing processes in the north of the uk (they all seem to be in london and bristol). does anyone know of any at all?

You could try contacting The Clocktower to see what they have to offer - Not sure if Cumbria is far enough north for you

aye 'appen i do mean t'north. im lancashire based so cumbria isnt too far really-ll check the clocktower out.

Cumbria? North? Pah. I'm 20 miles north of Inverness and there's still several hours worth of journey to the end of north...

ok maybe i should haven been more specific. NORTH ENGLAND! everyone knows once you hit that border just past carlisle theres nothing to see....

Then again, there are one or two people that consider Portsmouth to be up north and anywhere further up from Watford Gap to be full of furriners. 
Me, I'd be quite happy to see passport controls along the Norfolk/Suffolk border and minefields west of Kings Lynn - With any luck, it will stop the Romans invading us again

For us, that northern border with nothing more to see starts near Portsmouth!

I'd recommend John Brewer in Manchester.
I did some evening courses with him on various alt processes and it was an excellent intro.
I think he has new workshop/ studio space.
