Where to find bromoil brushes in Europe?
sorry for this simple question but I am quite stuck. I have been tryning bromoil for some time, using shaving brushes and various painting brushes but it is difficult to find the "right one" so I decided to purchase a proper bromoil brush. I have found only two sources - Bostick and Sullivan, from where the postage would cost more than a couple of brushes and Silverprint, with the minimum order higher than complete set of brushes /which I don't want now/.
Does anyone know about other suppliers in Europe/UK that would be worth trying?
(Or maybe some of you inking folks have a spare unused one? :-) )
Thank you so much..
I have learned from Gandolfi here om APUG that you can use a sponge. It workes fine, bur I suppose Emil/Gandolfi can tell more abort it.
On a wisit to London I bought brusches from Silverprint. They are OK, but smal. For bigger prins I have bought some sheap brusches from a Swidish company called "Biltema". They workes fine. But I suppose you do't have that company in Prague.
I have also locked at the kind of brusches that women uses to put makeup on their cheec.
If you buy theese brusches, You have to cut Themsen with a scistor.
Don't knop if it helps, but this is the only answer I have.
I don't know if this is of any help, but I use a pastry brush to apply ink and a wet/moist sponge to take it away.

Thank you, guys! I've tried sponge - to take the ink away it's not bad.. Cosmetic brush might be a good idea... Or try to find stiffer shaving brush?
