arches platine - front or back?

Getting serious here, I'm doing a bunch of printing with Arches Platine in pt/pd and I'm curious what everyone is doing?

Front (watermark readable) or back (watermark backwards)?

    Thanks!

I always use the readable side.

I use the smooth side of the paper. I forget whether the watermark is readable from that side or not.

I print on the side where the watermark is readable.

Thanks guys. I'm doing a test-print on the smooth side right now.

Hmmmm...looking pretty good. Last night I printed on the back (rough, watermark backwards) side. I'm not sure if I prefer one over the other yet. More consideration must be taken.

Using the back (Wmk reversed) side can cause problems with some process, as it isn't sized. Pepper, graininess, and blotching are more likely.
