Lumen prints
Has anyone any experience of making Lumen prints with colour paper?
-
What is it you would like to know specifically?
Thy heart -- thy heart! -- I wake and sigh,
And sleep to dream till day
Of the truth that gold can never buy
Of the bawbles that it may.

I was wondering if there are any specific colour differences in the image after fixation, compared to using black & white paper.
-
It depends on what type of paper and what fix you are using. I have had color paper present different hues from pink, purple and even brown. When I do lumen prints, I use what I have on hand as far as paper/fix I will even pre wet the paper at some point, either before the exposure or even the fix. Check out my gallery for some of my work.

Guitstik, great prints and thanks for the reply. I would have thought that wetting would increase sensitivity, but what else does this achieve? Can you comment on what different fixers you have tried?

I really couldn't tell a cause that was/is half the fun. I use what I had on hand, coulda been Kodak or Illford or whatever. It is something I do when I get into a slump and need to respark the creativity.
