Harman Direct Positive paper unflashed rated 1,5 iso. Developed in Ilford Multigrade developer for 3 min. Taken with Sinar P 8x10 and Rodenstock 300mm f5,6 Sironar wide open.
These are all brilliant portraits, every one. They're strong on their own but as a group it's just fantastic.
I'm curious how you avoided the high contrast of this paper - these are contrasty but still have a good midtone. I'd just heard that this paper was almost black and white in nature...I ask because it'd be great to use this paper myself and I'd like to avoid that pitfall.

I was use three flash sources for front and one for background light. On front two wafers (140 and 100) and big sunlight with difuser. Wafers was on two Bowens generators (3000 and 2400 ws) maxed out and sunlight was on Bowens esprit 500 also maxed out. All front lights was very close to the subjects. You must difuse your light and get some midtones on unflashed Harman paper.
