    Needed: Light-tight Envelopes/bags for 12x16 and 14x17 Photographic Paper

I've just recently purchased a roll of Ilford RC paper that I intend to cut into sheets, but I find that I need some better ways to store those sheets.

Currently I have a few extras of the light-tight envelopes/bags that 11x14 paper comes in, but nothing larger.

I would really like to have some envelopes/bags sized for 12x16 and 14x17. Envelopes/bags for 16x20 would probably work as well.

Does anyone know where these could be purchased? Or would anyone have any extras that I could persuade them to part with - I'd be happy to send PayPal for shipping.

I need boxes as well, but would expect that those would be prohibitive to ship.

    Thanks for your suggestions/help.
    Matt

Maybe it's time to break out the tools and build some nice paper safes. Quarter saw white oak would be classy.

Freestyle sells black bags up to 20x24 for really cheap < $1 each. Don't know what shipping costs up to Canada would be, though...

Yes, I thought I saw them there also.
They have all kinds of darkroom needs but you need to really dig into the web catalog.

I could probably rustle up one 11x14 box with bag for you but it would most likely be moot due to shipping.

I finally found the 16x20 ones on Freestyle's site - I swear that they weren't there when I looked earlier!

The caution about needing an outside mailer before they are light-tight gave me pause, but I assume that is just because it is necessary they be kept closed.

Shipping to my Washington State mailing address is nice and cheap.

Sadly, Freestyle doesn't have in stock outside mailers of the necessary sizes.

As for boxes, I may have to consider one of the Paper Safes sold by Freestyle - I already have a 12x16 one that serves as my everyday use Paper Safe, so a second one for storage purposes might be where I should go (or perhaps a 16x20 version, to add that capacity to my darkroom).

And George, if you ever saw evidence of my woodworking "skill", you would have thought twice before making that suggestion .

    Thanks all for responding.
