Add some Sarah McLaughlin and Russel Watson then maybe you'll have enough for a short printing session

The music Norah Jones is definitely intended to be heard in the dark...

It also keeps you nicely settled...no rushing through things and making mistakes. Judging by my work, I think I should play her stuff more often...no, maybe continuously...LOL

It seems to me that there is an instinctive choice which music is played, that somehow relates to the picture which needs to be made. I hope you find Nora quickly.

Isn't there a "Luddite..." thread in the Lounge?

I don't listen to Nora Jones, The only Nora I know of is Nora Batty... I quite like the sound of Joss Stone... currently in my CD player I have the Gorillaz album Demon Days. If I'm not listening to a CD I have the radio on, either BBC Radio 4 or the BBC World Service.

If it should be luddite you are forced to bring Norah and band into the darkroom to play for you. Luddites don't believe in recorded music

It's not that I'm a Luddite. You have to have recorded music in the darkroom for two reasons:

    1. Real musicians are afraid of the dark.

    2. Real musicians drink all the beer.

    Especially the piper.

No music in my darkroom (anymore).

About 4 foot above my head the 2 Year old child is (will) remain asleep - as long as I walk very slowly on tip toe and agitate very gently. The enlarger transformer makes too much noise - I have to insulate that in a box of only do 1 print per hour.

Here's one to try: Eva Cassidy

Tremendous talent; but tragically a life ended too soon.
