ALWAYS the source of light. So in the darkroom the negative
is the subject and it is being photographed on a sheet of print
paper. The negative, subject, is illuminated and then reproduced
on paper. No more nor less than macro or micro photography
using a silver gelatine print paper as a medium. Dan
