Two. A Beseler 45 MXT and a Minox enlarger. The Minox enlarger is quite small, as enlargers go. It doesn't need to be very big to handle 8x11mm film.

    3 too many.

    #1 is my first enlarger a 1970s Durst M600
#2 and 3 are Omega MF enlargers purchased to replace the Durst, one w a color head the other w a condenser head
    #4 is a Durst L1000 w condenser head, finally a 4x5 enlarger
#5 is an Omega D5 w color head, always wanted one

Only #1 gets used right now, as it is the easiest to set up and break down in my temp darkroom (a half bath).
The others will wait for me to setup a permanent darkroom. Although now that I have a D5 I will probably sell one of the MF Omegas.

I plan to keep one MF Omega for 35mm+MF, and one of the 4x5 enlargers for 6x9 and 4x5.

Nineteen set up and a few spares around (Omega D5-XL's and Beselers23CII's...and a couple Beseler 4x5's) I have been taking care of them for the last 22 years and using them for 13 years before that (university).

Technology is not a panacea. It alone will not move your art forward. Only through developing your own aesthetic - free from the tools that create it - can you find new dimension to your work.

Actually I do not use any of them much anymore...occasionally to print a 6x6 negs or two for fun. But I do own 5 UV light sources that I use for carbon printing and platinum printing (one NuArc, three 750W self-ballasted Merc vapor lamp set-ups, and a double lamp system (two side-by-side 175W ballasted merc vapor lamps). And the university has a couple 'pizza oven' style UV light systems (BL bulbs).

    what's left?
too many - but I have students who tends to be happy when I donate an enlarger to them...

12 enlargers set up inthe darkroom - about the same waiting to be used (among them 4 Durst laborator 138)...

Just the one now, a DeVere 54 converted to LED (documented somewhere here).

I did have an LPL/Saunders 6700 but I gave it away to a local school who wanted to enlarge their darkroom facilities.
