Not sure if they're still making them, but King Koncept (sp?) SS reels for 35mm were another highly recommended brand. Jobo makes some very nice 120 ss reels.

I think these are both made by Hewes.

Thirty years ago, gas was 50 cents a gallon.

Jobo stated that their SS reels are made by Hewes for them.

Guessing the octane rating was higher as well for the 10.5 to 1 crowd.

The statement said "Thirty years ago ..."

I can remember further back than that, but rather then getting into a flame war on age, I will concide that you are older than me!

    Good Evening,

Ann is correct. And there used to be an apparently constant price war along I-55 in SE Missouri. I think the lowest I ever saw there was about 17 cents, probably back in the late 1960's.

    Konical,

I did not say she was wrong, just that I will allow that she is older than me.

    Good Evening, Steve,

Please believe that I was in no way disagreeing with you. Ann's observation just brought back fond memories of really low gas prices, even for the 1960's. No comment on the "age" matter!

    Konical
