I was hoping to give her some perspective about our adventure when we picked up and transported my Omega D6 with Ilford Multigrade 400.

She immediately began to worry that I now wanted a Devere 8x10 enlarger for my own.

I had to show my wife this picture before I picked up my Durst, just so when it arrived she would say 'thats fine, it looked like it would be bigger.'

I considered that approach, but I thought it would backfire and she would definitely say no. I knew it would be better for her to have no idea of the size until it was too late.

I guess the other way would be to show the space where it will go. Real estate rights sometimes need to be slogged out. Finally got my way. 10ft x20 ft with 9 ft ceilings. Purpose built.
