JOBO CPP-2 (week motor vs 3010)

This is my first post on apug 
Although i have read all the related forums but they are over 3 years old. Just been lucky to grab a CPP-2 n expert drum 3010. I have read all the related documents on web including jobo site and others on this forum talking about motor upgrade etc.
I am in search of someone who has got the same spec as me and have used it sucessfully . I mean cpp-2 first version serial10xxx without any upgrade, working with drum 3010 with 1000 ml chemical mix.

Although i wasnt able to run it as my lift was already cracked and i didnt wanted to break it further. But it runs drum 2563 very well from the lower slot. I am also in need of new lift incase some one can offer in uk or anywhere.
    Thanks for reading my essay
Any personel experience with the above problem? Please write to help

I seem to recall they're not compatible. I also recall that I've read an article suggesting a windshield wiper motor could replace the original. BMW,Mercedes,?
If the CPP still works don't kill it with the 3010 drum. There was also information on burning up the circuit board.

I know it may sound banal, but I think eBay is the best place to find such thing (no Craigslist here). In looking for some Jobo material on the eBay I recently (a few days ago) saw several Jobo lifts, and several Jobo film processors, among them a couple of CPP-2. The German site seems to be better provided with Jobo offers.

The handle is broken on my lift so I just raise and lower the 3010 drum by hand.

Same i would, but even if its not broken we still need hands to lift. I dont believe jobo is made in german. Tanks are built like tanks though but the lift could be made alot better
