That's all you need. You can use the tank by rotation on any flat surface, or if you want to you can get the 1509 roller so you can roll the tank in place (see the demo video at the bottom of the kickstarter page).

This is an awesome idea and kudos to you for it.

Now if you could just come up with an affordable 8x10 head for my D2V!

Such rotten timing - I just ordered a 2550 tank from Catlabs (to replace one I just couldn't glue back to usefulness any longer)... And my excuse for not upscaling to 8x10 was always the bother of upscaling everything else... This makes it too easy.

Well, I don't even have an 8x10" camera at all, only 4x5".
I just figured that by the time I get this, GAS would have attacked again and I'd have some sort of 8x10, and I could do with the 2550 at any rate (and there's a few pinhole cams I'm building to use with paper, this just makes it a lot easier to use plastic instead)

Here is a short update to answer several questions that came up:

    1. At this time the CL81 will not be able to process 5X7. We are working in a 5X7 concept and hope to have some progress once we clear the slate after the CL81's start shipping. I know this is not the best answer, but stay tuned, we are working on it.

    2. Each backer who pledged for a CL81 and Multitank 5 will have the chance to select an inversion lid or cog lid if funding is successful.

Thanks to everyone who has already pledged, please help us make this project succeed by sharing the link to the project on your social media outlets.

Quick update and one more answer to question:

A lot of you have been asking about 18X24 capability:
While the tube could be shortened to match the correct height of 18cm, the film retaining clip would most likely not be long enough to grip the film on the long side to keep it in place. Of course anyone DIYing the tube, could also possibly DIY the film clip, but thats currently beyond our resources for the project.

Within 3 days, we have passed the 60% mark of our funding goal.

Help keep the ball rolling on this project.
We will have some exciting stretch goal rewards if we can make them!

Thanks to everyone who has already pledged!

Thanks to the support of many APUGers (and many others) we have passed our funding goal!
We still need your help and every little bit counts. We just added a new CL81 vinyl sticker reward as well as a high volume shooter rewards (for 2 reels).

Help us keep the ball rolling!

Just a question about lids, are they interchangeable with the 2830 lids?
I've already got cog lids for them, so I don't need another if they'll fit this tank5 too (hence i'd get an inversion lid for when I'm too lazy to fire up the CPElift.).
But if the 2830 cog lid won't fit the tank5 then I'll need a coglid.
