    help identify 8x10 back

Hello. I have this 8x10 back. Not sure where I got it or why.
Could someone help me identify it and possibly give an idea of asking price?
    Thanks!

It looks rather like an Eastman View #2 or Kodak 2D 8x10 back. The way to be sure is to measure the rear dimensions and the space between the pins. If the rear of the back is 11 1/2" square and the pins are roughly 10 3/8" apart, there you go.

Not sure of the value, though. I recently bought a 5x7 reducing back for my 2D for around $45.

It's not an Agfa Ansco back and the way the springs fit are Eastman 2D style as are the other fittings and also the finish.

Value depends how much someone really needs a genuine 2D back in good condition could be anything between $100 and $200
