bellows pinhole repair, 4x5 Speed...
hello--
Please advise as to preferred method of bellows repair--pinholes in Speed Graphic bellows.
Two remedies came up in my search: 1) black fabric paint (apparently a WalMart item), and 2) "Brush-On Electrical Tape" by Blue Magic, Inc., Conroe, TX
Any repair success stories to share, protocols, etc., gratefully received!
Best,
Dean

I used Star brite Liquid Electrical Tape on the bellows of a Crown Graphic and it worked great. I treated both the inside and the outside of the bellows for three holes and a rough spot.
If you go the liquid electrical tape route take your time and be careful. The stuff is real stringy.
Good luck to you with the repair.

+1 for liquid electrical tape. USed it on my 4x5, 8x10, and an old polaroid.

Used liquid electrical tape on several bellows repairs. Let it dry overnight before closing the folds together.

I've used the Bostick & Sullivan patch kit for camera bellows with great success, not expensive:

For pinholes, the dacron fabric isn't necessary, of course.
