Yeah, but the last update was 6 weeks away and promised to be shipping 'real soon'. It's not the lack of camera that concerns me (I've got my toyo to keep me fit lugging around), it's the lack of updates and concrete information.
In my engineering job if we miss delivery we have to give updates at least every day or two to the salesmen to relay to the customers, sometimes more than once a day with those headache-inducing and/or (self-)important customers. And even then they don't pay us until 30 days after we deliver to them.
I'm well happy with waiting for something worth it instead of getting a slap-dash job, but their silence is not doing them any favours for this or the next project.
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

    f/64 and be there.

I've had experience of Ben and Justin before.
They're not running an engineering company, they are enthusiasts with a vision and they fit all this stuff around their normal lives.
They also keep an eye on their inboxes and if you are concerned then email them.
Sometimes there's just no news and no updates to give.

Common theme in KickStarter projects. That's why I don't do KS. I think generally speaking most projects do deliver but there are just so many that you have to wait and wait...

Well I guess the 90mm angulons are going up in price...

I wonder how ilford will respond to this as the travel wide offers the camera with a pinhole included. Their Titan 4x5 pinhole that features the same plastic build is a bit more expensive at $219 (b&h).

And a very nicely done website at that. Free from clutter and useless animation (except maybe the less switching). No audio "just because they can".

What does the Titan come with, though?

10 Sheets of 4 x 5" Harman Direct Positive Photographic Paper
    10 Sheets of 4 x 5" Ilford Delta 100 Professional Film
10 Sheets of 4 x 5" Ilford Multigrade IV RC Pearl Finish Paper

Ok, that's about $25 worth of film and paper. Still the Titan is configured for pinhole only while the Travelwide has a helical with 20mm of travel and can use various 90mm lenses besides shipping with a pin hole cap. Ben said that, just for asking, they will also ship the 65mm front plate to backers who ordered the 90 version. This means that with a screwdriver and a little effort you could convert the 90 to a 65mm pin hole camera, and then switch back to the 90 if desired. Quite a sweet deal for those who backed the project.

I don't disagree with you, just pointing out that the Titan comes with a few extras that have monetary value.

You also buy into the quality of Ilford, Harman, and Walker cameras.

But either way, yes, the Travelwide looks very appealing. I'm already thinking about what to do with my tax refund...

I already have the 90mm Angulon and backed the TW. Got my cheap but adequate Israeli viewfinder laying right here on my desk. Just waiting patiently for my camera.
