I tried using Pepto-Bismol for fixer once. It was totally ineffective at getting the pink tint off my TMY.

Damn it. I knew I shouldn't have told you about the 3-bath process I'd been working on!

John, as we are now past page 3 of the thread, it is time to change the parameters of your initial query!

    dude

you need to have some sympathy for my cause
i have a real need to get my panchromatic, full tonality negatives to look
like i shot them with my buddy down the street's minox.
his work has so much emotion, grain, texture ( both literal and figurative )
i take the same photos as him sometimes with my 8x10
and they look blaaaaa .. too much tonality, like an azo+amidol print,
    3d, grainless yuck
maybe its my shoes, any suggestions?
if i heightened maybe my work will be better,
he's about 6 and change, and i was about that tall when my work was so-so, just before the house fell on me
and i was in the iron lung
i worked remotely for a while, it was ok but a pain in the neck
with all those mirrors and smoke

Obviously John the film you are using is all wrong, I've been telling you for years. It's far too clinical, I've seen it hanging around the clinic myself. What you need to do is convince Kodak to bring back Royal-X pan in sheets, now that was a non-clinical film! In fact it never got sick, not even a cold. Amazing grainishness, and bokeh for miles. I have a buddy who knows a guy who knows a guy at Kodak, I'll give you his email. Start an online petition because those totally work. I bet they will even name the film after you : Royal Pain Plus! That would be sweeeet.

Try an inversion table to view the GG.
Then either do shots from a low level or put the inversion thingy on you're dining room table to raise it..It amay be a bit bulky but workable.
Some might say I have a bad attitude! Too bad.

    thanks for the suggestion
can i get a chiropractic adjustment at the same time ?
maybe the endorphine- rush will help with the enlargement / reduction problem ?
maybe use a minox to photograph large negatives?
im thinking of falling off the rodinal waggon but there are like 40 different versions
would the stuff made to be like the developer from 1938, mixed with the new stuff that
was just released mixed with ro9 1:30 semistand and then shuffle process finished
give me the grain and contrast i need or should i mix it with tea? ( mint tea?)
last tike i was given pyro to use i nearly burned down my space, i thought you wasnt
    supposed to play with fire?

    someone just pm'ed me
and said if i take the front half of my wollensak 1a and have an adapter made at grimes or whever i go
and mate it with my 90mm super angulon's rear half it will fix my problem
    has anyone done this?

will the groups play nice or will my german glass make my rochester glass feel inferior
and make everything either out of focus or excessively sharp?

    any input would be helpful...

could my problem be with my darkcloth, its not too dark anymore
