    Sinar F1 question

I originally thought I would not need to extend the rail on my SInar F1 but now want to do close ups and do not have enough length. Will any of the extensions work or do I need to look for F1 specific rail extensions? and will I need to replace the standard bellows with a longer one?

Any sinar extension rail work except those for the Norma. Essentially the F,C, X and P's all use the same accessories. I bought the 18" and now use the original 12 inch as my extension.

I would agree that a longer extension rail is better. I bought a 6" extension rail to add to my 12" standard rail, and I have to use the entire length of both rails to use a non-tele 305mm lens. If the lens focal length were any longer, I'd need both a bellows extension and a longer extension rail.
