    Technika Lens boards

I want to mount a 250mm Imagon in a Copal #3 onto a Technika lens board, for use on a Super Technika V 4x5. To my eye, it looks like there might not be enough room to squeeze it in between the standards. Am I right, or mistaken in this regard?

I've just seen an advertised used Linhof technika V lens board , for Copal #3, where the shutter is actually screwed directly onto the board; no retaing ring required. I'm wondering if this potentially answers my question.

I seem to remember seeing a Technika style lensboard that had a small (height) extender ring on it. I know Horseman makes a set of extension rings, but this was mounted directly onto the board, the same as on Technika's recessed WA lensboards.

Compound #3 can be mounted directly on the board, but the orientation is very important to avoid conflict with orientation. I have remounted mine with a spacer ring between the board and the shutter, and can now use all apertures. Mounted directly on the board I found it impossible to use f:8 to f:16 with fall...
