    7x17 S&S holder

I just got my 7x17 inch S&S film holder from Quality camera in Georgia.
    GORGEOUS

I wanted to comment and publically tell Sandy King what a wonderful job he does with these.

Ive been saving for a little over 2 months now to buy one and finally got to order it.

will be up and running with my 7x17 camera by this weekend. The local Austin woodworker Dan Kagay is doing the modifications to my F&S camera to make the filmholder fit. so excited.

I'll second the quality I experienced with my 11x14 S&S holders I purchased from Sandy, along with excellent knowledge and service. I also know the feeling of saving my pennies for the holders so I could start creating images.

    Ditto.
I bought 3 7x17s for a trip to Zion NP this winter. Very smooth and nice under difficult conditions. These are the gold standard.

    Mike,
Happy shooting with the F&S. Do you have an extension rail, or like me, are you limited to about 20"? I love the 355mm Gold Dot Dagor, but anything smaller seems too wwwiiiidddde. Have yet to try the 19 in. Ilex Paragon.

no extension rail... would love to have one for longer lenses.... so Im stuck being limited to the 20" as well. the 14" Kodak will have to do for now.
