B & J View (4x5) Lens Boards?

What lensboards do a B & J 4x5 View camera take?

It looks like this one is fitted with some sort of adapter board...perhaps to allow one to use a standard size - maybe Toyo field or Graphic?

According to my 1959 B&J Catalog it should take a 5 1/4" lens board. That adapter may be for the 3 5/8 metal speed graphic type boards or it may be 4X4. There's definitely an adapter there though.

I don't know about that one, but my B&J monorail (Orbit) and my B&J press both take 4" boards. Some of the wood ones are even stamped "Burke and James".

Mine are both 4 " metal boards...even my 5 x 7 is a 4 inch board

LOL....Well, when it was at $78 it was a no-brainer...I see it went for over $200. Far more than I was willing to go.
