Does anyone know what this lens might be worth?

It was in a box that came with a darkroom I bought. there are 4 enlarging lenses, but this one had a shutter so I'm guessing because of the square board around it that it is for a large format camera. Any ideas? google isnt turning up anything for me.

If you don't want it I'd take it. My birthday is coming up. :P

I'm guessing it would cover 4x5. Not sure how much it's worth, though. It has a pretty nice shutter on it.
No idea what's going to happen next, but I'm hoping it involves being wrist deep in chemicals come the weekend.

A little bit more info in case you come up empty.
It is a classic lens for large format although this short 6 inch only covers about 130mm so not quite a 4x5 but should cover 6x9 fine.
The Red Dot Artar is designed to be optimal at 1:1 1:5 typically mounted in process cameras but some was mounted into LF shutters.
It is a very sharp lens but a little sensitive to stray light so be sure to use a good lens hood if you have a camera it will work on.

These aren't really very useable on 4X5. They don't cover with any movements. Put it on ebay and you'll know in 7 days what it's worth.

Go take some pictures with it and that'll make it worth more money.

The shutter alone will get you over $50.00. Don't know much about the lens, but I believe the others on lack of coverage. Probably good with a press camera with limited movements,
