I'm happy I bought my 240 when I did--I think worked out to $1/mm including postage, a shutter and the scale!

    wow!

My 355 cost me the staggering sum of €55 as I recall, along with a 210 and a 150. All in barrel, but I "just happened to have" a Compound 3 which the 355 fit straight into.

I'm glad I bought it, since I'm not sure I could afford one now!

No it wasnt and mine is not for sale, it is one of the most versitile lenses, and I am thankful that Sandy King recommended it to me quite awhile back, also recommended was the computar lenses. I did follow up on his advice and have never been sorry.

alludes to the fact that investment in certain lenses at the right time can be worthwhile... money wise..and the joy of owning and using....

Dave, lol, just jealous that's all as you probably know I'm assembling lenses for the 14x17.
