    Nippon Photoclinic

I am very pleased with the work Casey Akagi performed on my Horseman Woodman Camera. I received the camera without a tripod mount, so I sent it to Casey for him to affix a mount. Not having a Woodman mount, he adapted another (tachihara?) mount to fit the camera. And at only $60 plus shipping I think it's a great deal. Perfect!

Thought I'd give him a plug...

This is Nippon in New York? Yes, they have an excellent reputation for the things they work on--mainly modern Japanese cameras.

I used them for work on a Hasselblad lens
-- very honest and top-notch work. I went
back with a Rolleiflex that needed work.
They said they could do it but recommended
another shop that specialized in Rolleis. In
both instances I was struck by their concern
for the customer and the equipment.

    They deserve their good reputation.

Yes, they also turned away my Voigtländer Vitessa-L, because they said it would take them too long to figure it out.

Yes, Nippon is an honest shop. They overhauled my Leica IIIf system, my Hasselblad system and my father's Veriwide. Good resource.
