Looking for a Sinar Norma Maintenance Manual

    Hi !
I own this Norma, with the 4x5 and 5x7 backs.
But some adjustments are stiff and others are loose.
It needs a good dismantling, cleaning, greasing and reassembly.
I'm reluctant to do this without any documentation because I'm afraid to broke or mis place something.
So if you, guys have some knowledge, exploded views, adjusting procedure, greasing recomendation,... please help me !
Thanks a lot in advance !

Yes, Philippe, I've got it !
I do not need a user manual, I need a maintenance manual...
I do not think Sinar factory has one for free either....

The Sinar factory seems to be very reluctant to give away any information on anything.

    Georges,

If you are not mechanically inclined yourself, you need a friend who is. Someone who has spent his teens tuning lightweight motorcycle engines or the like…

I, or rather a friend of mine, recently dismantled, cleaned and lubricated my Norma without having a service manual. And, yes, we got it back to perfect working order: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum44/4...are-parts.html

He used a small screwdriver and a small insert key (?) while working on the camera. The only problem we encountered was that we at first did not understand that the plates showing the amount of shift and swing are glued to the standards.

I do believe that you can manage without a service manual if you keep track of all the parts and make notes on where they fit the camera.

That said; if you do find a service manual – I’m interested as well.
