Pentax Digital Spot repair?

Has anyone sent this meter out for repair? I dropped mine (several times):rolleyes: the last of which was fatal. I tried CPR, but alas it's a flat liner. I dislodged the battery housing it seems. My attempts to open the case also failed. I just purchased a new one, but would like to get this one repaired for a spare. Any advice is appreciated, thank you....Phil Kember.

George is a specialist who works on light meters only, does fast & top notch work, and is very reasonable. He rebuilt and calibrated 2 non-working meters for me, a Minolta F Spotmeter and a Gossen Luna-Six for less than $80 each. He's the best!!

Yes, that would be Richard Ritter. Highly recommended. He repaired mine and had it back to me in less than a week. One of those rare people who actually tries to do what he says.
