Zeiss APO Tessar 450/9 info

I have tried to find info about this lens :

Zeiss APO Tessar 450/9

Any of you guys have it and : recommend it - or would you trash it

Actually i did buy it cheap (70 USD) and it is fine - no scratches but NO retaining ring :o

If you type Zeiss APO Tessar 450 f9 intomGoogle there area lot of results change the 450/9 to 450 f9

It's a Jena lens I assume, there's even a post on this site.

You could check the serial number for age. My shorter one is prewar.

No retaining ring? -(

It is a nice lens. I have one in a compound shutter. Here is an example of a shot I took with my 45cm Zeiss APO lens.
