    Extra-Rapio-Periscop

    Is it a Periscope lens? 140mm - Extra-Rapio-Periscop - 1:11 FOC. I was quite curious when I saw the lens diagram: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi..._periscope.svg
Does anyone have an image made with a periscope lens?

It might be, and at f:11 it should only be "Extra-Rapid" if it's a Periscope. But steinheil used the Periskop name for a lot of lenses, many of which never saw the market: My own Steinheil Periskop is an experimental "noname rectilinear".

I'll be shooting with the experimental this spring, as well as with a "true" periskop. Pictures may be posted.

Thank you. I suppose I will have to buy it if I want to see what it can produce. If it is a periscope, would it have a chance to cover 4x5?

    Define "cover".

But the answer is "yes, certainly".
