Hmmm, around here the backbeat to your song would be supplied by my long-suffering spouse hitting me with a tripod leg. He would likely add a line in between each stanza "and what will you sell FIRST?"

Then again the same guy is now trying to figure out how to get my latest acquisition (a beautiful 8-ft stainless sink) into our basement...

And by way of full disclosure, I have an 8x10 Deardorff that I bought on a bit of a whim as well-- well used in a professional studio with a surprise of 2 beautiful lenses thrown in. My best Craigslist score ever.

That's where being married can be a good thing. At some point, there's a limit to how much they'll let you get away with.

Then again, my wife helped me build the 20x24 and has been pushing me to get some filmholders made up, so maybe it's a 50/50 shot.

Life for me, especially in skiing and photography, got better when I became a free agent!

My girlfriend is very supportive, and only once in eight years questioned my motivation for considering a photography purchase. I have a Hasselblad with four lenses and a Hasselblad SWC, and when I was offered a Pentax 67 with a 90mm and 135mm lenses today. All she said was what would that provide that I do not have and how would I carry it with the Hasselblads. Then she said, if I really want it, I should buy it.

Life is wonderful. Consider becoming a free agent.

    YMMV

Warning!! Handling a Hasselblad can be harmful to your financial well being!

Nothing beats a great piece of glass!

I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.

You probably don't need any of that stuff. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you.
