Where on earth can I find filters for a 70mm thread?
Does there exist such a thing? I have the Nikon 65mm f4 SW lens, and its filter thread does indeed appear to be 70mm, falling inconveniently between the normal sizes. So currently it's the only lens I don't have an orange (my favourite) filter for.
Any leads?

Munz,
Why not get a mate with a lathe to turn up an adapter to suit, then you could use 72mm on the lens.

Now there's an idea!
Maybe I can cajole someone here at work.... Still, it seems odd that Nikon would do such a thing - they're hardly an obscure company!!

It's 67mm screw-in size. I used to have one.

Marc, are you using that lens on your 4x5 Wista?

Thanks everyone - yes it IS a 67mm thread (I got all confused by the outer diameter - yes, I once completed an engineering degree, sigh...). Shane, I am using that on the Wista, and it works well, but with a normal lensboard, doesn't allow too much movement. A bit... but not much. I was pleasantly surprised though, and it's a sharp and easy to focus lens (f4!!). You should get one for your Wista :-)
