Cloth tape for wood film holders?

    Hi All -

I need to re-tape a couple of old wooden film holders. I have looked everywhere for the right kind of tape.

Any suggestions where I can get what I need?

    Thanks -

    Tony

Library tape is usually the preferred replacement. It is strong, and sticks well to wood or plastic.

Thanks a bunch. The library tape idea makes total sense. I'll also check out the UK link.

try gaffer's tape. worked for me when I had to repair some 4x5 holders(Plastic) a year or so back.

should work fine on wood holders though.

    Bookbinders tape AKA library tape.
If you try gaffers tape, make sure it's Gaffers tape NOT duct tape or some other sorry excuse. The adhesive will become gooey over time.

I used hockey stick tape - found in most sporting goods stores, and it worked well.

Calumet used to sell a tape for this purpose. It may have been library tape
    for all anyone knows.
