    Need help and guidance

    Hello fellow photographers,

I have been shooting medium format for more than 2 years now and i would like to get into Large format photography. I have no idea about anything in the market, on what to buy how to use a view camera. I politely ask you guys for any suggestion on books? that will educate me thoroughly on LF photography.

    Thanks a lot

There are a number of books out there. A popular one (and the one I have) is "Using the View Camera" by Steve Simmons. I can't compare it to the others, but I think the book is well done and easy to read.
If I had been present at the creation, I would have given some useful hints for the better arrangement of the Universe.

Look at the web site largeformatphotography.info - it contains on the first page several articles that will answer a lot of questions.

Here's one from Leslie Strobel. http://www.amazon.com/View-Camera-Te...2&sr=1-3-fkmr0

I remember using it in college. I have one by Sinar by Carl Koch called "Photo Know-How" but it's out of print Ansel Adams book The camera http://www.amazon.com/Camera-Ansel-A.../dp/0821221841 is also excellent. Enjoy your exploration of view cameras. I still love it after 25 years of using one.
