You might try Richard Ritter. He's a member here and also repairs and builds cameras. I'll bet he can get you what you need.

What type of camera is it? There is a guy on ebay selling all sorts of Deardorff parts. You might contact him.

    I have a set off a 5x7 B&J Camera -- painted black w/ paint chipping off.

Top piece (the one that moves) is 5/8" wide, 5 3/8" long...screws (2) about 3 3/4" apart. Bottom is the same width and 6" long -- four screw holes.

$5 including shipping. But these are very simple beasts...a little bit of metal stock (brass?) and you could whip up a much nicer set for about the same price -- custom for your camera.

I am sorry, but I have already made arrangements to ship them off to another APUGger. Let me check on Monday -- I might have another dead camera that I can pull a set off of. I will PM you if I have them..pm me with your address.

    Joyda,

Do you still need those parts?

What I have available is 1/2 of a set-up for holding the lensboard on (the top piece that has the odd-shaped holes that allow it to slide down over the lensboard.) The second bit is usually just a plain piece of metal. I'll toss it in an envelope if you want it and you can mail me a dollar bill when you get the piece.

The second set I have is off a Tachahara -- nice semi-shiny brass, in great shape. I would prefer to trade for this set -- a pro-pack of 120 B&W film. I would use the film to give to students wanting to try out MF.

Here is a photo of the same camera showing the parts. They are about 3.5 to 4 inches long.
