Fuji 4x5 packfilm in Polaroid 405 holder?

    Hi Guys-
I understand that the Polaroid 405 film holder is intended for the smaller packfilms but it looks as if the 4x5 packfilms would fit in this holder. Is it possible to fit a 4x5 packfilm in the 405 holder which is intended for 3.25x4.25 films?

    Hi Patrick,

I'm afraid not. The 4x5 packfilm requires either a Fuji PA45 or a Polaroid 550 back. The 405 back only fits the 3.25x4.25 films.

The 405 holder will actually work in a 4x5 camera. It just, obviously, doesn't cover the full 4x5 image. It's also not centered and to the side that you slide the film holder in at. Also since it's not a snug fit, side to side, it can be a little askew. But it's fine for checking exposure. FP-100C is a third the cost of FP-100C45.

The 405 is actually made for 4x5 cameras. It fits the Fuji films quite well. 3.35 x 4.25 image, 4x5 holder size.
