    Fujinon-NW 150mm f5.6

I have a problem lens that I bought from eBay back in February and have only recently started to use. Focusing wide-open is not easy as the image is very indistinct, with no sharp edges. I've asked around, and also visited Malcolm Taylor in deepest Herefordshire. It seems as though what I have is a Fujinon NW 150mm f5.6 front cell in a Copal 0 shutter (multicoated lenses), with a single-coated rear cell, presumably from an older Fujinon 150mm lens. The give-away is the fact that there is no serial number engraved on the rim of the rear cell. This is according to some people on the LargeFormatPhotography Forum. And someone on there recommended that I try this site.

So, does anyone have a suitable rear cell for a Fujinon NW 150mm f5.6 lens? I'm based on the Cambridgeshire/Northamptonshire/Lincolnshire/Leicestershire/Rutland borders in the UK, so would prefer to deal with someone in the EU, as that would avoid extra costs for long distance shipping, customs charges, handling charges, extortion etc. But I have just bought a Fujinon-W 180mm f5.6 lens from Germany, so I'm not in a rush to get it sorted out.

The 180mm arrived this morning, and after a quick squint through to check I could focus it, I'm pleased to say that it looks and sounds fine. I now need to get hold of a Linhof/Wista type lens panel with a centred hole (it came with an off-set one) and a 67mm Lee adaptor and I'll be set-up.

I've had good dealings with ecbuyonline2008, an ebay seller over in China when needing Wista lens boards. No VAT or custom charges incurred on the two occasions when I ordered some. A word of caution - If you buy anything this time of year, expect long delays from the postal system (blame it on online Crimble Shoppers).

I'm curious why the centered hole?

With the lens in the off-set position, the controls are obstructed by the retainer for the lens board, as I have a Tachihara. Rotating the lens doesn't have much effect, making the use of the controls, and seeing their settings more difficult.

I've now got hold of a new Shen Hao from Ffordes. Not as nice as a Linhof board, but it does the job. The 67mm Lee adaptor is on its way from SpeedGraphic as they seem to have the best prices and show them with VAT included.
