Since you close one eye when looking through a camera, why should it matter which eye is dominant?

aha, there in is another survey question. When using a 50mm lense I learned long ago that closing the other eye is not necessary. Now, if I was not shooting with my dominant eye I would probably close the other.

I always shoot with both eyes open, partly because that's how I was taught to fire a rifle and partly so I can see whats happening when I'm shooting at public protests / demonstrations. I wouldn't want to get run down by charging Police Horses

I use both eyes with the waist level finder...

I think left eye subpeople should be exterminated to cleanse the human race.

Left eye, right handed, right footed and play tennis with both hands (just to confuse the opponent).

Now how does it go again: Is it the right eye or the left eye that makes one more creative???

Isn't that a tad unfair on your opponent... surely one racquet is enough?

Yep, I am left-eyed. Which is a good thing, because I have a spot on my retina in my right eye. I think cameras are designed by right-eyed people.

Left handed, (and footed), right eyed for camera and firearms. I shoot 35mm so rarely now I had to go pick one up to remember. Can do some manual tasks equally well either hand but nothing athletic or requiring fine motor skills. So how many left handed people are members here? I suppose I should start one of those poll threads with the cool colored bars but I'm supposed to be working so I don't have time to figure out how to do it
