    Neg scan noise

Seems to me there ought to be a digital section to address scanning issues as we all use it. Is there a discussion anywhere about all this noise I'm getting in my neg scans. Epson 4870, never gave me this much noise before, with or without digital ice. I'm getting a big mess. Help!

Scanning questions are off topic for APUG, except as they pertain to posting in the APUG gallery.

There are many sites on the internet for discussion of digital topics, and APUG's sister site, hybridphoto.com, is a great place to discuss processes that combine traditional and digital photography.
