Awesome new weather website

Just posted this on the Large Format forum as well...

As a tool for planning, I've long been fond of the noaa.gov's website, especially the tabular data that includes projected hourly cloud cover, precipitation, temperature, etc.

Through REI, I've discovered a new tool that takes this data to a new level. Called weatherspark, it is an interactive site that provides not only realtime, but historic weather info.

Flash is a universally bad thing. No website designer who's older than the 8th grade should ever even consider using it for anything.

It's a good way to get a virus on your computer. There is no way to prevent it and Adobe will not rectify the problem.

Avoid all Flash, all the time. Block it. Blacklist Flash based websites. Complain loudly and with many cuss words to any website designer who uses it.

Given that I have entered the iPad world as my primary way of accessing the eWorld avoiding flash is easy. Just waiting for the rest of the world to catch up.
