Could the lens be adapted to fit on a Leica or Zorki 4K?

If so, would the tripod screw on the camera body be strong enough to hold the assembly?

I'm thinking that with only 200 pounds to support it just might be crazy enough to work.

I'm sure it would fit no problem, but there might be some viewfinder blockage.

If you read the q&a section, the seller actually checked it with a dosimeter! The units they report don't make sense, though---I'm guessing they mean 0.3 microsieverts *per hour*, which by my calculation actually isn't much above normal background radiation.

The thing weighs 200 pounds---the heavy-lifting injuries would probably kill you faster than the radiation from the rear cell! :-)

That's what I always heard... heck tritium watch faces, and airline flights are more "dangerous" than those lenses.

One of my sons is a physicist, I was asking him about radiation danger from my Canon FD 35mm f2 Thorium lens, and he said it's no more dangerous to own it than eating a banana every day ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_equivalent_dose

I wonder what that lens covers and what shutter would fit it. I guess a FP shutter would make that last point moot.
